Coments on Suzuki Harmoncias
The harmonicas I mainly use are the Sirius and the 12holes SCX-48 Chromatix. I have used many different brands of harmonicas in the past, each with its merits and demerits, but Suzuki's completeness, reliability and  in particular, the sound volume significantly higher than those of other brands, makes me prefer them to all others. The Sirius is a perfect harmonica. Very tuneful and stable. The powerful and precise sound is perfect for classical music ensembles, where clean sound is essential. I have played many oboe concertos with Sirius as this instrument perfectly overlaps the range and agility of the chromatic harmonica. Sirius is also great in jazz, but I often prefer to use the SCX12 for the slightly “dirtier” and livelier , somewhat old-fashioned sound.
