A set of 5 Chromatic Notes

This is a set of 5 chromatic notes that can be added to the MPP-8. When a push pump is pressed by hand, the air inside the pump is pushed out and the reed sounds.

The MPP-8 added to the MPP-5 make 1 octave chromatic 13 note set.

Place it on a desk or flat surface and press or strike the top middle center of the instrument to play. Pressing slowly to produce a long sound, pressing quickly to produce a short sound, pressing strongly to produce a loud sound and pressing lightly to produce a soft sound.

A cute note sticker with a bird motif is attached to the striking surface of each instrument.

Since the sounds are color-coded, they can be easily recognized and even small children can enjoy playing.

There is also a helpful identifiable mark to show the center part of the striking surface, to create the best sound.

Usage example "Transposition play Froschgesang"

The objective of this activity is for students to feel the difference in the image of the song due to the chromatic notes, and to master the basics necessary for musical expression while having fun and cultivating sensitivity.

The sounds used are Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, Ra from the MPP-8 and Re# and So# from the MPP-5.

Recommended age is 5 years old～.

Steps:

1. First, let's play as usual without using chromatic notes.

2. Next, let's replace a note of E/Mi with a note of D#/Re# and a note of A/La with a note of G#/Sol#.

3. Let's play with the replaced note. How did you feel before and after changing the note?
